Residential/Comercial Painter

Griffin Painting is a well established painting company on Vancouver Island. We are based out of the Comox Valley and provide services for all surrounding communities. Our team is experienced in a variety of different painting & coating systems ranging from interior to exterior, residential to commercial on all types of surfaces. We pride ourselves in exceeding our clients expectations and providing the highest quality painting services from preparation all the way through to the finishing touches. Postion Summary We are looking for motivated full-time painters to join our team for work starting in March. Summer work will consist of small and large exterior prepping and painting projects with the addition of interior projects when weather is not cooperating. Job Duties Able to work within a team setting or individually Organize and maintain tools and materials to provide a clutter free working environment Valid drivers license Positive attitude with a willingness and desire to learn and grow within the company Follow all H&S guidelines and procedures Ensure effective working relationships and clear communication is maintained Skills & Qualifications Previous painting experience an asset but not required Able to work well within a team or individually with minimum supervision Fluent in English, second language an asset Physical Aspects of the Position Repetitive tasks handling heavy and awkward loads. At times awkward body positioning working from a kneeling, sitting, bending, standing for extended period of time Physically demanding tasks in a fast paced environment Salary: $20.00 - $35.00 based per hour Schedule: 40hrs/week Monday - Friday
