I have an insulated Intermodal 48' container that I've just removed the diesel heater unit from.
This would be a prefect unit for an emergency backup heating system for greenhouse or other facility required prevention of freezing.
Unit has a diesel engine, somewhere between 7-9 HP which starts automatically to maintain temperature at a preset setting in the container. 12 Volt system. A blower fan circulates the heated air into the container. It then shuts down automatically.
Unit comes with a approx 50 gallon tank.
It could also be used to provide auxiliary power/ lighting etc.
Unit runs well and is totally self contained.
The diesel engine could be used for many other uses.
